How you got into improv
My mom would let me watch old SNL with her, became obsessed with Gilda Radner. Read a book about her and learned about Second City. Moved to the suburbs of Chicago in high school and was able to take classes at Second City. Have been taking classes and/or performing ever since!

What you love about improv
Building new worlds and creating characters with other people. It’s like choreographing a dance in the moment and when things work out or you find some kind of symbiosis, it’s absolute magic.

What inspires you
Honoring quirks and traits in the people I love or people I just observe. I love trying to take a small inspiration and then create a whole life for a character. And then when the scene or moment is over, they vanish and it’s a sort of controlled mystery that I’m really obsessed with.

Non-improv related tidbit
I have visited 35 states, lived in 8! Goal to visit every state & every continent (might skip Antarctica TBH) before I die!
